Shayna Teicher

shayna, beyond beauty editor

Shayna’s foray down the rabbit hole and into the often upside-down world of beauty products began at the tender age of six, when she pilfered her mother’s singular bottle of L’oreal nail polish and gave herself (and part of the carpet) her first pedicure. A self-educated recovering product-junkie, Shayna set out to pare down the clutter of abandoned beauty products taking over her bathroom (and dresser, and closet) in lieu of a more consolidated, effective collection of beauty essentials. After nearly three years managing a bath and beauty boutique, Shayna decided to go out on her own and open Butterfly Effect, a holistic, eco-conscious beauty boutique located in Sarasota, Florida. Our very own Beauty Chick, read Shayna’s intriguing articles and product reviews here. Got an eco-beauty question? Email shayna@modernhippiemag.com
