Spread Eco Awareness for Earth Hour 2011

Earth Hour 2011 takes place on Saturday 26 March at 8.30pm EST and is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community throughout the world. It is a call to stand up, to take responsibility, to get involved and lead the way towards a sustainable future.

Sustainable living refers to a lifestyle and set of choices that minimizes a person’s environmental impact.  You can choose a sustainable lifestyle for a host of reasons.  Some are inspired to protect natural resources while others are called to a sustainable lifestyle to ensure healthier living.  There are those that embrace a sustainable lifestyle because it makes sense financially.  Regardless of the source of inspiration, why not use Earth Hour to spark eco momentum in your life.

This Earth Hour, get involved! Take Eco Action!  Want to know how to do it?  Start by joining Earth Hour.  Then, show your support and spread eco awareness. Here are 15 easy ways to integrate sustainability concepts into your Earth Hour.

1.       Turn off your lights on Saturday, March 26th at 8:30PM EST.
