ECO-CREATION by Conceiving the Best Version of Yourself, First.
One woman takes on the infertility challenge by teaching fertility as a way of life, first, in order to conceive.
Infertility affects one in 6 couples, and of that 30% are rendered “unexplained,” meaning the body is perfectly healthy to reproduce. This issue is developing into epidemic proportions and today’s answer of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is not addressing the cause of the issue but forcing the override of it in many cases.
What might be causing us to be so out of balance that we cannot reproduce, even if our bodies get good grades? How can we “go green’ when we really need IVF?
Elisabeth Manning is helping couples address this tender issue on a very personal level by consulting them to return back to what is considered a fertile way of living again, making that the primary focus before they try to conceive; “We must first be honest about where we are pinching ourselves off from well being and vital life force energy in other areas of our life and take steps to free up those places. Everything is connected. If we start early enough we may not have to resort to IVF at all, but if we must, we can still focus on enhancing our environment–and that means our inner environment as well.”
It all started when Elisabeth consulted her friends who were under so much stress that they thought having a baby would help the situation. He was ten years younger and didn’t want to get married. They barely made love. She thought having a baby would bring them closer together. He was already under so much financial pressure (they couldn’t afford IVF) and later revealed he was resisting becoming a parent because he was abused as a child and didn’t want to be triggered. He also drank a lot to cope with the stress and when he did became emotionally abusive to her. Would this be an ideal landing pad for a baby to come into? Elisabeth was once told in confidence by an IVF doctor that he could see why certain patients couldn’t conceive, that “they shouldn’t be parents in the first place with where their priorities are.”
In her pioneering private coaching practice Conscious Conception (consulting nationally and around the world over the phone), Elisabeth explains that “fertility is a way of being, it is a way of living, and we must touch our full human aliveness and vitality again in order to allow and summon its power. We have forgotten our sacred preciousness, and we have gotten used to being so busy that we stopped listening to what is out of balance until it is too late. But I believe infertility is preventable and reversible.”
For optimal success it is best to start now, before you think you are ready to conceive so as to prepare mindfully to clear any unknown blocks that can accumulate over time and manifest later in the body as ‘stuck energy’. This energy can be released over time and with deep intention and commitment on the part of the client, after which the body can properly reset itself providing it has the healthy organic nutrients it needs. “We cannot ignore the emotional/mental power we have to either enhance our life or hurt it. And the body gets affected by all that.”
On IVF: Being there is only a 30% success rate and at $20K per very stressful attempt, it is good to have some insurance. “Stress, fear, and creation (reproduction) do not go together. When you are running from a bear (fight or flight) the body literally shuts down the baby-making organs to use that energy to run from the bear. You are not about to lie down and be open to sex. They just don’t go together. If we are to create we need to mimic and respect nature’s laws and set ourselves up for success. That means cultivating a fertile way of being, first, in order to conceive.”
Somewhere along the fast food, GMO, high speed cellular highway we have lost touch of what it was to be fully in touch with nature’s rhythm, or even respectful of it. Now, more than ever we are being asked to cherish the gift of being fully alive in this miraculous human body and to respect and take ultra good care of it. Elisabeth adds “I really believe Mother Nature is pausing us at times of illness, to get our attention and hit us where it matters the most to make us listen to all the red flags we’ve ignored in our past so we can recalibrate and learn to love our lives again. The body always knows how to reset itself when we stop hurting ourselves and come back to balance.”
Elisabeth started seeing a behavioral pattern with infertility issues and began having great success with helping couples make significant shifts. She intuitively reads the root causes of individual ‘blocks’ to conception and helps committed clients take next steps in a unique and speedy way (very much like hypnosis) to save as much time and money as possible. She also connects parents-to-be with the spirit of their future child in a relaxing and profound guided meditation called Babyspirit which helps build confidence and trust in a higher plan and bigger picture.
This ‘pausing’ of Mother Nature can help couples turn obstacle into opportunity.
One way couples can find a strong foundation is through 6 week Fertile Optimist Series (via phone or in person) to help parents-to-be confidently enter the mindful conception (natural or IVF) process. Armed with tools to not only cope with stress, but to foster the beginning of self awareness and living a fertile life, couples are empowered to see how they can positively affect their fertility. The series is offered through hospitals, acupuncture clinics, IVF clinics and privately through her website and by invitation.
Conscious Conception is the voice of reason and a voice for the unborn children who are asking their parents to conceive the best version of themselves, first, so they can arrive to the best possible scene. “We are too precious not to notice the miracle that we are, that this earth is, and to learn to open to creation the way nature intended.”
