EcoVogue360, Sustainable Fashion Show Event

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of being one of the models for the EcoVogue360 Trunk/Fashion Show event held at Café Palm at Media on Main in Sarasota, FL.  Showcasing the talents of mother and daughter eco-fashion duo, Russet & Jerah Coviello, the show launched their Butterfli Collection – 20 ways to wear – “THE LITTLE BLACK TUBE”.

The tube represents one of their 3 collections, aptly named Butterfli, because like the cycles of a butterfli’s lifecycle, this garment can evolve into several different ways to wear it.

These ladies are most definitely on to something in how they are offering functional sustainable style with the environment and their community in mind.  The fashionable versatility of this one garment is jaw dropping!  I am most definitely a huge fan.  Congrats ladies on an awesome launch!

“The Butterfli Collection captures the essence of a SUSTAINABLE & CONVERTIBLE garment. Sustainable to us means each garments falls under one of our, if not more, 20 ecovogue principles. Convertible to us is wearing this design 20 ways to match our principles. This collection is limited edition bringing you only 365 tubes made for the 2010 year representing one tube a day. Each tube is handmade by Russet. Every month we kick off a new campaign that features a new tube eco-fabric, color, & pattern.

THE LITTLE BLACK TUBE” Collection features a basic, classic and timeless black tube made out of a sustainable fabric called modal. Modal is made from beechwood trees, it is very lightweight, 50% more absorbent than cotton and is colorfast fabric = no fading.”
