Air moves effortlessly through the world, yet carries with it the potential for movement, power, and great change. It carries the birds in their flight and moves the earth through its wind. Though we don’t know where it comes from or where it goes, air offers us life without question. Would that we could trust the flow of life as much as we trusted the presence of air, how easily we could ride its currents.
In everything that life offers us – the beauty which inspires us, the relationships which nurture us, and all of the gifts that enrich our being – we do not know from whence they come or where they go. However, if we are conscious of it, though it may take on different forms, we are always supported by this endless stream of inspiration, nutrition, and enrichment. By becoming aware of this flow and breathing in all that life has to offer as it carries us along and shifts the sands we travel, we find that life provides a truly immaculate ride.
