Your Daily Groove – Cultivate the Art of Living

“There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic.” – Anaïs Nin

Because of our often limited capacity for learning, life has a way of offering its best lessons in the simple, yet profound. Be it through the elements of nature, the laughter of a friend, or a minor misfortune, life is always presenting us with opportunities to better ourselves and our stations in life. One of the greatest measures of a man is his ability to perceive and integrate these lessons into his daily routine.

Though few may achieve outright enlightenment, we each have the capacity to learn from life every day. Whether the lessons we learn are great or small are of little consequence. The importance lies in our daily growth and ability to appreciate life a little more every day in order to cultivate the art of living.
