As our population grows, our urban centers are starting to heat up. With all of that extra vehicular transportation, most of us have realized that our climate is heating up as well. However, as our culture starts moving back toward the Main Street mentality with people living, working, and shopping in downtown areas, it is imperative that we develop plans to create more livable environments that include better mass transit and pedestrian functionality.
