“Great things are not accomplished by those who yield to trends and fads and popular opinion.” – Jack Kerouac

Just as there is a growing movement in environmental sustainability, there is unfortunately also a growing movement of cynicism pointing its hateful finger at all things green. For as many as there are who strive to be conscious in their purchases and lessen their environmental footprint, there are just as many who chastise them for following the Hollywood elite or posturing because green is becoming more popular. In your own journey to create the life you want; do not let the voices of disparagement dissuade you from your chosen path. Look deep into your heart and ask yourself if you are going green because it is the popular thing to do or because it is the right thing to do. I am optimistic that there are far more of the latter than the cynics would believe.
