Chicksie – A blast from the past

I love synergy and synchronicity! A few weeks ago I got an email from Stephen McFadden introducing me to his site VWTV, a site dedicated to all things Volks Wagon. Naturally, he forwarded a couple interviews he’d done with members who exude a more “hippie” essence. As often happens when I find content to publish, it sometimes gets relegated to the back burner. However, I felt this week would be a good time to introduce Steve’s VW videos to Modern Hippie Mag. Wouldn’t you know it, Steve and I had an opportunity to meet at the unveiling of a newly modified electric VW as part of Project Green Machine (video coming up next). It was purely by chance that Steve happened to be there!  And thus a new friendship and collaboration has begun!

There was no better way to introduce Steve’s WV video series to you than this interview with Sarah, owner of a ’79 VW bus, “Chicksie”.  For you hardcore hippies out there, Chicksie’s bright orange color and paisley flowers might bring back fond memories.
