To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, Natural Awakenings Magazine of Sarasota is throwing the first annual EcoFest, an event covering three counties over the course of three weekends. Last Saturday, downtown Sarasota was alive with vendors, artists, and educators promoting healthy living and environmental awareness for the festival’s second weekend. Jaszy took the occasion to speak with some of the attendees about what Earth Day means to them and how they celebrate it all through the year.
