Handmade for Earth Day Auction, Monday April 19, 2010 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on May 2, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST.
Six reusable t-shirt bags filled with eco-goodies, that Team EcoEtsy members donated, will go to the highest bidders. Auction is open worldwide! You can choose any category to bid and the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Worl Wildlife Fund, organization the members voted on.
Team EcoEtsy, led by Karen of ecokaren and Rikkianne of Chakrapennywhistle, is a global team of eco-minded Etsy sellers’ with a mission to protect the planet by utilizing methods to reduce carbon footprints in managing their businesses and leading their personal lives in the most eco-friendly manner.
According to Karen, “We are just as determined to use recycled materials in our creations as we are about recycling packaging materials. We take the safety of the environment in mind in the way that we manage our businesses and create our items. We strive to grow as a team that focuses on promoting eco-living in our personal lives as well as in our businesses, and educating others about the importance of being environmentally responsible.”

All proceeds, after shipping costs, will be donated to World Wildlife Fund.
