Myths represent the best that humanity is capable of. Through the stories of old, both factual and fictional, we get a glimpse of the heroism we aspire to down deep in our hearts. Often it seems that we can only reach these heights in our dreams. However, through conscious living, we are able to dream lucidly and affect the changes in our world that we most want to see. By realizing the wonder in even the minutia of daily life, we gain greater respect for our own magnificence and our ability to become the heroes we have been waiting for. In how many ways can you portray the hero in your own life today?
