“Except during the nine months before he draws his first breath, no man manages his affairs as well as a tree does.” George Bernard Shaw
Of all the lessons that nature has to teach us, none is more elegant or poignant than the lesson of simply Being. Though a tree provides shade and shelter, food and oxygen, though it brings life in its growth and nourishment in its death, it never toils to accomplish all that it is capable of. Weather may ravage it and leave it distressed, but the tree itself never stresses over attaining its purpose. Through the cycles of seasons, precipitation, and decomposition, nature provides all the tree needs to flourish and prosper for the tree is simple in its needs yet complex in its offerings. If only we could attain the same properties and live in such bliss and harmony.
