“Wherever we look upon this earth, the opportunities take shape within the problems.” - Nelson A. Rockefeller
When does an event that does not unravel exactly as we planned actually become a problem? More importantly, does it ever have to be a problem?
It’s interesting that one of the most popular pastimes today is video gaming, whereby a person takes on a virtual life so that he can take part in events that pose challenges in ever-increasing stages of difficulty. We do this for fun and entertainment. Yet when, in our own lives, we face events that pose challenges in ever-increasing stages of difficulty, we call them problems.
In video games, as we meet and conquer the challenges posed to us on each level, we receive the tools to face the next challenge. And wouldn’t you know it, life is the same way. If only we could have as much fun conquering our real challenges as we do conquering our imaginary ones.
