“All human beings are also dream beings. Dreaming ties all mankind together.” – Jack Kerouac
Dr. King was not the only one of us who had a dream. Many of us dream of a world where love reigns, peace abides, and hope flourishes. When we speak of our dreams aloud, they are often dismissed as Utopian ideals that will never come to fruition by those who have been jaded by cynicism. Yet even they have had these dreams, though they often let them falter in the face of adversity. But for those of us who hold fast to our dreams and visit them even in our waking hours, we are given the austere opportunity to glimpse them in our own lives in larger and larger doses until they overcome our reality and come true. Dream Big. Dream Often. Dream True.
