“You’re only as young as the last time you changed your mind.” – Timothy Leary

No matter how long your body remains on this earth, your mind will always have the capacity to learn more. It actually yearns for it. It is one of the things that keeps us young. When our minds are active, when they are seeking and absorbing newinformation, our bodies are more alert, more vibrant, and more alive. When we become fixed in our ideas and stagnant in our beliefs, that rigidity extends through our body as well, rigor mortis starting to set in before the heart even stops beating.

Learning doesn’t stop when we graduate from college. If it did, we would all be perfect by the age of twenty-three. However, realizing and correcting our mistakes is a lifelong process that is consistently guiding us down better avenues toward success. We may finish using textbooks, but the experimentation never stops.

With any given tidbit of knowledge we hold in our brain, we must always remain open to the possibility that we might just be wrong. After all, we are attempting to understand not only all of the rules of this game we call Life, but also all of the mysteries of the Universe, using only ten percent of our brains. What if we’re using the wrong ten percent?
