Vincent Dessburg
Entrepreneur Vincent Dessburg believes that minimizing the distance food must travel will positively affect communities and the environment, so much so that he has transformed the rooftop of one of his warehouses into a garden using the Vertigro hydroponic system, (www.vertigro.com). Ultimately he hopes to transform the warehouse into a café using the produce he grows. His fruits and veggies are still in the beginning stages of growth but in just a short time he is seeing incredible progress. Vincent’s example can be a lesson to others that one man’s effort can effect change.
