Get Naked, Be Love and Win!

Okay, now we’re getting into what being a Hippie is all about, right? Hang on a minute. Put your pants back on. But before you reach for your shirt, let me tell you about The Naked Hippie and Be Love t-shirts.  You’re definitely going to want to get these for yourself and your loved ones.

These two companies share some interesting similarities.  Both companies offer organic fiber t-shirts with a decidedly spiritual message, both are run by couples who met while practicing yoga, both of them have at least one shirt with Gandhi on it, and both of them create their own very original designs.  Cool, huh?!

naked hippie IMG_7939The Naked Hippie – When Erin and Adrien were thinking of a name for their organic t-shirt line, they knew they had to address their inner “modern” hippie. They decided to use the word “naked” to demonstrate the fact that there are no added chemicals to their shirts and they added “the” to avoid being confused with a porn site.

naked hippie IMG_8152Inspired by a life of spirituality, eco-centrism, and exploration, their “eco-tees” are made with 100% fine combed organic cotton, which is harvested without harmful chemicals and pesticides, and grown with natural fertilizers and bug repellents, making it safe for workers and good for the earth.  They use water-based, non-toxic ink and their packaging material and tags are all recycled. Expect minimal shrinkage as all of their tees are pre-washed. Infused with meaningful designs, The Naked Hippie tees are very affordable at $29 each. Purchase online at www.thenakedhippie.com.

naturalbelovewebsiteBe Love founders Kyle and KamGi have one of those truly remarkable love stories that you just have to go to the website to read. The love they have for each other is shared with the rest of the world through a great variety of t-shirts, tank tops, and hoodies for men, women and children. But t-shirts are only one part of the Be Love vision. With a mission to “educate, inspire, and organize communities to create justice and peace through the practice of nonviolence,” the sale of each piece of apparel goes to further the seemingly unending source of information on peace studies and nonviolence their website offers. Modern Hippie Mag is pleased to be an affiliate sponsor of Be Love.  Visit www.beloveforall.com to purchase and learn more.

So even though it may be getting cold outside for t-shirts, buying from these two wonderful, family-operated companies will truly warm your hearts.

TOTALLY agree!! I am all about the "Slow Fashion Movement." Buy clothes that will last and last, and are environmentally friendly.

Check out my website. Not only are we using renewable resources (Alpaca/Wool) that last for many seasons of great wear, we work directly with women entrepreneurs in Cochabamba, Bolivia. So with every purchase our customers are helping to alleviate poverty in the Third World while investing in environmentally friendly, stylish clothes that will last for time and more time.

I'm a mom and I get real worried every time I read about these chemicals in our everyday lives – who knows what my kids are exposed to. I happened to come across a website (http://www.home-health-chemistry.com) that gives recipes on how to detect for dangerous chemicals such as parabens, BPA, lead and others – those that want to be more proactive should check it out.

    Keep safe!

The Naked Hippie is a name that really appeals to me. Clever and catchy, it sure works! There is a global revival of the hippie culture, albeit on a more sensible level as far as drug abuse and the like is concerned, and their tapping into this is a smart marketing move. I'm heading over to go and check their website out now, hanks for sharing!
