holiday-diningCheck out IdealBite’s Guide to Holiday Entertaining chock full of tips for your next hassle-free holiday party including stylish, tree-free invites; vintage punch bowls (and ideas for filling it) and reusable decorations; and delicious organic recipes, plus some of Ideal Bite’s classic Cocktail Facts to spark up conversation.

‘Tis the season…

We love the idea of sending your guests home with little gifts they’ll actually use like,

  • ‘Cookie Mix – combine organic, dry sugar cookie ingredients in a mason jar and attach the recipe using an old holiday card (punch a hole, tie with raffia) – supereasy to make.
  • Big Dipper Wax Works Aromatherapy Holiday Square Tins – beeswax candles in Mint, Pine, and Spice (orange, clove, and cinnamon) that burn for 12+ hours. Or: Rosewood-Cedarwood calming candles – perfect for easing holiday stress and for decorations ($9/3.5 ounces).
  • Herb Pots – pour a cup of organic soil into a fabric scrap and tie, then stuff it with a packet of organic herb seeds into small terra-cotta pots.
  • DIY – craft ornaments (like these peppermint, bow, or cookie ones) to give out or have supplies on hand for guests to make their own during the party and take home – especially great if you’ve got kids in the mix.

You’ll find more tips in the full 3-part guide.
